Tuesday afternoon at MASP

Today we visited the exhibition "De dentro para fora e de fora para dentro" at MASP (São Paulo Museum of Art), that opened last Friday and goes until 5 December.

Photos are not allowed, so I had to borrow some images from Flickr.

Total São Paulo: a guide to the unexpected

São Paulo now has a "cool" guide created by the American journalist Phuong-Cac Nguyen, who works as a correspondent in SP for the trend-hunter blogs CoolHunting.com and JoshSpear.com. "Total São Paulo: a guide to the unexpected" is the perfect companion for travelers who wish to discover the true soul and secrets of the amazing South American city.

The guide is divided by neighbourhoods and has plenty of restaurants, bars, shopping and nightlife tips. It's also packed with interviews with celeb paulistanos such as fashion designers Marcelo Sommer and Fábia Bercsek, the skater Fábio Cristiano, and the Galeria Vermelha art producer, Marcos Gallon, amongst others.

For the online version of the guide, visit the site www.totalSPguide.com

Tired of it? Recycle!!!

According to Fer and Cris, the girls from Oficina do Estilo, the secrect to dress well during pregnancy is not to shop at maternity shops (I promise that I've tried many of them in Barcelona and I can never find anything that pleases me) but to go to the shops that you are really like and to buy the right stuff that you might event be able to wear after pregnancy.

And searching their blog for more pregnancy tips, I found this cool post on online second hand shops in Brazil (known as brechós). There were so many links suggested (yellow pages style) that I thought of fishing some of my favorites and listing them here. Enjoy shopping!!!!

My favorite one, no question about it! The name Enjoei means
'Got Sick of It'.

Campana brothers for Lacoste

I confess that Lacoste was never a brand that really caught my attention, but I must admit that their 2009 partnership with the Campana brothers really impressed me.

All the shirts were made in collaboration with
Coopa-Roca, an artscraft cooperative from favela da Rocinha, a slum in Rio de Janeiro.
